Tanner’s New Hair

photoThis is from Tanner:

I’m at the hospital. And my hair is falling out, but I’m very sad. Lily is another girl with leukemia and she is my friend and she gave me her wigs. One is dark brown and very long and is real hair. And the other one is dark blonde but fake hair. And my Mom ordered me this one and it is blonde just like my real hair. Here is a picture of it.

Love,
Tanner

  1. Honey, you did a really nice job on your first blog! I can’t wait to see you in all your different wigs. Do you think we can share?? Love you bunches <3

  2. Tanner…..I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your new hair and your hat. Oh soooooo cute! I sure missed seeing you today. I think it is a great idea that you start blogging. I really enjoy reading your thoughts.

  3. We love you. You look great with or without a wig. Sending you all our happy thoughts, we hope you get to go home soon!

  4. HEY TANNER,
    AREN’T WIGS COOL?
THEY WORKED FOR ME, AND THAT ONE LOOKS GREAT ON YOU!
WON’T BE LONG UNTIL YOU HAVE YOUR OWN BEAUTIFUL HAIR BACK
AND IT WILL BE BETTER THAN EVER! REALLY! I LOVE YOU, E.

  5. Tanner, I love the wig and the hat. You are gorgeous – with or without the wig. Did Lily show you the blue and green and pink wigs she has? They’re fun, too. Guess what? Lily and Sophie are spending tonight with me since their house still smells bad from having their floors done while they were out of town. When Lily gets up in the morning, I’ll let her read your post. Maybe she will leave you a message, too. I think it’s great that you wrote on your blog yourself. You’re a wonderful writer.

    Love,
    Lily’s grandma

  6. Are there wigs for pets? Sort of. Ever see the reindeer headbands on dogs at Christmas? Anyway, we loved the wig, hat, and especially your smile.

  7. Tanner, I know you don’t know me but I have been reading your mom’s blog. I can’t remember when I started reading it, but I want you to know I am praying for you. I love your wig. It is beautiful, and you are even more beautiful. I love your smile. I will continue to pray for you. I hope you can go home soon.

  8. Hey Sweetie, I think you are cute as can be! Just think – showers will be as easy as they are for your Dad and Jake – just jump in and out!

I am so sorry you have felt so badly. Just be as strong as you have been and know that you will feel better soon. I am praying for you, Jake, Mommy and Daddy!

    Love you, Aunt Debbie.
