It’s 11:49 pm and I’m writing from the Vandy ER. Tanner has a fever and we are waiting for counts to decide whether we have to stay or not. If her counts are above 500, they will let us go. They have already given her an IV antibiotic that will cover her for 24 hours. If her counts are below 500, we will have to stay. I’m not even going to talk about how I feel about this development – it’s too exhausting and I don’t feel like I have any energy to spare.
Obviously, we will not be lighting the candles at church tomorrow and, of course, we can no longer count on being able to go to my parents’ for Christmas. We really can’t even count out being in the hospital for Christmas at this point.
That’s all I’ll write. The rest would be blasphemous, I’m afraid. I’ll update in the morning.
Love,
Beth
NO WAY………I ONLY HOPE I GET UP TOMORROW AND READ THAT SHE IS BETTER. I AM SORRY AND WILL PRAY FOR HER TO GET A GOOD REPORT CONSIDERING.
I’m so sorry about the fever and ER visit. I hope to read soon that her counts are up and you were able to go home. We are praying for you.
Oh, we are so hoping Tanner’s counts will be up this morning. Many prayers are with you. Our friend (a human) was so very happy to see the Page family at Jake’s Christmas program. much love your way.
Hi Guys!
I just got your page from Blaire a couple days ago. I am so excited to be able to read on your progress. You look wonderful Tanner! I think about you all the time! I look for you in the hospital and then I sigh a sigh of relief when I see that you are not. Don’t be discouraged about the fever! I really hope your counts are high enough that you won’t be staying in the hospital. But if you are, you will be getting a visit from me! I wish I was there last night. We were one night off. I hope to hear this morning that you have been given the okay to go home. I will keep in touch!

This reverend tells you to blaspheme when necessary. God will understand. Maybe some of the angry Psalms will speak for you!
